2009 Chevrolet Impala Service Airbag Light. Under the front passenger side seat the wiring. The contact stated that the air bags warning light illuminated. Took to the dealership and they said it was dirty connection. There does not seem to be something in particular that happens for the service air bag to either come on or shut off but from what I have heard this is not an issue with the air bag.
The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Impala. Aug 30 2015 - linn creek mo - air bags when i start the car i got a service air bag message. I had the problem fixed but I see that my vehicle isnt under recall. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer. January 29 2021 Date Added to File. I am concerned why this air bag would need full replacement all of a sudden.

The airbag light or SRS supplemental restraint system light on the GM dashboard shines whenever there is a malfunction with the airbag deployment system. They cleaned it and charged me almost 100. My Service Air Bag light has come on two times since I have had the car. Service airbag light is on. However the contact stated that the failure occurred when the air bag light illuminated and stayed on.
