2009 Chevy Impala Service Traction Control Engine Power Reduced. I got a light saying something like Service Traction Control and then I got a reduced engine power light. Back in 20122013 I started having trouble with my 2008 chevy Impala. Let me start from the beginning. I have a 2006 Chevy Impala and the Service Traction Control message comes on then the reduce engine power message comes on which slows the car down.
I also am having issues with my 2009 Chevy Impala with only 38500 miles on it. Traction control service reduced engine speed and check engine light appeared on dash. The car is running rough and has no power when this occurs. I dont really have the money to take it to a dealership to have it fixed. The TSB applies to 2002-2005 Midsize GM SUVs. I have already replaced throttle body twice and throttle body sensor along with 2 APP sensors still not fixed.

My 2011 Chevy impala lt keeps having an issue of engine power reduced stabilitrak comes on and it jerks as if the engine wants to turn off. I could pull over shut off my vehicle and turn it back on and the traction light was off and it would run fine. Stabilitrak and traction control needs Servicing with the message of reduced engine power have to turn off and restart engine to get it to full power but message reappears after a few minutes engine light is on It sounds. If had the gas pedal replaced and throttle body and mas. Mentions that Reduced Engine Power Mode may be triggered due to an electrical short inside the cooling system fan clutch. I topped off the coolant and that went away I drove maybe 7 miles across town to get into 2015 Chevy Camaro and at 3am I went to go to work in my 08 impala LTZ and it wouldnt even start.
