Key Wont Come Out Of Ignition Chevy Cobalt. BUT apon turning the key theres a haze of smoke that come from under the hood. But just recently it has not released it will start the car then turn it off go to acc. Posted on Dec 06 2014. I dont know if its the battery.
Asked by Mell in Arvada CO on. The simplest way to remove your key is while in park move the shifter and turn the key at the same time. Luckily was able to find online how to access the panel in the steering column and find the button to push to release the key. For model 2007 there is still the recall expires in 2022 in the gear shift assembly from GM for Cobalt models 2005 to 2010. And it will release from there. 2010 Chevy cobalt key stuck in ignition.
