Service Traction Control Chevy Impala 2006. Code 562 or 561 For General Motorss eyes only. Joined Jan 21 2011 3 Posts. Since the senor only comes on the hub I have to replace the whole assembly. I took it to a shop and got the code C0040 which is the right front speed sensor.
- Chevrolet 2006 Impala question. Although it may be tempting to ignore the service StabiliTrak warning it can really be dangerous not having it when you need it. Now after driving it i am getting a service traction control. After reading your posts i think my rotors on the front have to do something with it cause they started making a noise while driving. 2006 Impala Traction Control light on ABS system works fine. This helps avoid lateral acceleration altogether.

Turning off traction control including stabilitrak in my 13 I dont know if anyone mentioned it and Ill assume its all the same hold the TC button for 3 seconds release when DIC says Traction or Stablitrak off. - Chevrolet 2006 Impala question. It is possible to disable this feature for the driving cycle although it is automatically reenabled each time you crank the Impalas engine.
